SLambango doesn’t leave much to the imagination with their name. You know exactly what you’re in for when you push this CD into your player…a healthy dose of power-soaked hard rock complete with blistering guitar solos, bombastic bass lines, powerhouse drumming and gut-wrenching vocals. Slambango architects Dave Dawson on vocals and guitar and Kevin Gilligan on bass and vocals make a formidable duo that takes the best from bands like Black Sabbath, DIO, and Judas Priest and designs a sound and vibe all their own. Anyone who says heavey metal is dead hasn’t heard the dynamic sounds of Slambango. These guys rock with fierce abandon. Best songs include the blazing album opener "RAIN", the Ozzy inspired "Save Me", "The Deal", and the hard driving grind of "Hangman"(one of the albums best tracks).
