Bio

Formed in 1999, the powerful and inspirational ensemble features heavy driving guitars, bass and drums combined with a full string section, various and keyboard effects. Influenced by the likes of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Beethoven, Chopin, Jim Steinman, Paul O’Neill, James Horner, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Opeth, and Nightwish

Their first release was the 2000 Rock-opera adaptation of Shakespeare’s "Romeo & Juliet" entitled "Tragedy in Verona".

The group then released the highly praised 2002 project "Classical Thunder: A Rock Album" featuring 13 brilliant rock/metal arrangements of classical standards by the musical deities such as Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Grieg, and Rachmaninoff.

The group then went on a hiatus as the composer pursued other projects. They triumphantly returned in 2007 to release their best-selling holiday Rock-Opera "The Christmas Chance". With an original short story, poetry, and rousing and inspiring vocal and instrumental compositions, this album has compared in emotion and creativity to Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s "Christmas Eve & Other Stories". "The Christmas Chance" is available in full on ITUNES and cdbaby.com

The ensemble is currently working on the follow-up the winter-rock opera "December’s Child" due out November 2009. This album is strictly staying away from a label as a Christmas or even Holiday album and explores an original semi-autobiographical story of a child who arrived in December from half the world away to experience his first winter.

Following this release, the ensemble plans to resume composition and study work to release their largest work to date. A harrowing and explosive double concept album entitled "The Darkened Heart". This project will tell the semi-fact based story of the last years of the life of immortalized writer Edgar Allen Poe. In a much darker, disturbing, and aggressive musical, lyrical, and vocal style, this album will allow the group to depart from their lighter and more sentimental beginnings. Look for this project in autumn of 2010.
