Bio
The UW Orchestra is the primary compositional vehicle for musician/songwriter/producer K. Urban Williams. Formerly of the punk band Under Authority, Williams struck out on his own with The UW Orchestra and you’re holding the result.
The question of “what do the lyrics mean?” is one that Williams intentionally leaves unanswered. It’s a different experience for each and every listener, so he prefers to have meaning assigned to it by each individual listener.
Williams prefers the EP format to the LP format. It’s his intention to release a lot of EP’s of varying styles under the banner of The UW Orchestra. Says Williams “How many albums do you have in your collection that have 3 good songs and 10 bad ones? That’s the reason I prefer the shorter EP.”
